Driven by a lifelong passion for drawing, sewing, and creating that began in her childhood, Nancy initially started designing custom quilt patterns exclusively for her own home. After receiving overwhelming praise from friends and fellow crafters, she took the leap to start self-publishing her original work under her signature brand, Art to Heart.

Seeking an exciting new medium to complement her project books, Nancy partnered with Benartex in 1997 as a licensed fabric designer. Today, her highly innovative and deeply appealing fabric collections are recognized and cherished by makers across the globe. An incredibly prolific creator, she has authored 54 books and published 67 patterns, with many more continuously in development.
