'Abracadabra' is a striking design created using fabric from my 'Collage' collection for Moda.
It uses traditional patchwork piecing combined with some foundation pieced units. Having some patchwork experience will make this project easier, but the techniques are simple to learn, making it suitable for all experience levels.
The pattern is printed in full color and includes color photographs, detailed layout diagrams, fabric requirements, cutting lists and templates for foundation piecing. Detailed block diagrams show the exact arrangement of fabrics and lots of supporting photographs, mean you can confidently re-create my design.
The pattern includes details of a light and a dark colorway for this design and includes a blank block diagram for you to color and create your own colorways.
The pattern guides you through preparing and piecing the blocks and includes notes on preparing the quilt backing, wadding, layering up and binding.
The original quilt featured fabrics from my 'Astra ' collection for Moda in a dark colorway, but the pattern has been reprinted using fabric from my new Moda collection 'Collage' available Summer 2023 in the UK.
