Birdsong Bootcamp 201 - Half-Square Triangles

Have you made your first quilt and want to learn a more advanced technique?  Have you made a nine-patch, strip quilt, or have you worked with simple blocks and want to take your skills to the next level?  Learn to make one of the most versatile quilt blocks in a quilters tool box, the half square triangle block, in our Bootcamp Basics 201 class?  

Half square triangle blocks are the backbone of quilt blocks.  Hundreds, likely thousands, of different quilts can be made simply using the half square triangle block.  We have chosen a great pattern which you will use to make your quilt.  You will also learn how to measure, cut and add borders to your quilt top.

This class is a Two Day Class. Day 1 is spent cutting your fat quarters and making your half square triangle blocks.  Day 2 is spent piecing blocks together and adding borders to complete the quilt top.  We will discuss options for quilting your quilt top.
